Lead Developer, Business Analyst & Project Manager for a Web Portal for generating invoices for Fund Services business units. Manual and automated invoice generation with fee calculations based on schedules. Cut invoicing process from 2-3 weeks to 5 minutes with full integration with corporate accounting system Dynamics GP 10. Maintained production code branches whilst working on subsequent phases, merging at each production service pack.

Lead developer creating a custom Report Suite web front end for running SSRS reports. Enable accountants to create custom daily, weekly, monthly and annual AdvisorWare (an SS&C product) report packages that they can run for each of their clients, removing the need to manually format extracted data and reducing report package lead time form several hours to minutes. The report process runs in the background and notifies the users when there reports are completed.

Lead developer and project manager for enhancing a custom SharePoint solution for managing daily tasks and checklists for accountants. This was born from the need to have task completion tacking for Auditing and SAS70 compliance. Handle any issues that arise on a day to day basis as well as enhancements to the system. Enhancements included import & export of funds & tasks for updating, notifications for ending schedules with auto-regeneration, customer satisfaction form with followup tasks and reminders.

Organizing and conducting training seminars and webinars for OpenTravelCRM, a Web 2.0 rich interactive customer relationship management application.

Developer for Travel Sciences primary software product, Travel Office Suite, used by travel agencies for booking air, cruise and land tours. Collaborating with a team of nine developers and Network Administrators. Inherited responsible for manual booking, commission, settlement and reporting screens for hotel, cruise and car bookings. Pages were incomplete and full of bugs, I was able to complete and make bug free in time for QA and launch of these additions to the Suite. Continue to add further capabilities at clients requests.

Lead developer for a team of three to produce a marketable stripped down version of Travel Office Suite for hotel reservations, commission tracking and reporting with Microsoft Report Server 2005.

Lead Developer for RoomRate.com and Airportandhotels.com, both public sites for online hotel reservations. Implemented ISAPI_Rewrite to fully utilize the extensive database of Cities and Points of Interest (POI) whilst easing the development and maintenance cycle of the site by consolidating over 200 pages, on each site, of static content into three dynamic pages. Created dynamic variables available throughout the site to help with SEO for the top 48 US and Canadian Cities. Improved the reliability of the booking process resulting in fewer abandoned searches. Build several administration tools for managing hotel and POI images, default text and contests entrants/winners. Improved the speed of hotel search results by utilizing AJAX to fetch room rates on the fly from the initial hotel results and display them sooner to the visitor. Added ability to view POI map of city and request driving directions by interfacing directly with MapQuest's API. Produced ad-hoc reports on reservations as required.

Lead Developer for IMProvCenter.com, an online IM Bot portal and development application for the development and management of IM Bots for the MSN Network using Akonix's L7Builder and in partnership with Microsoft. Responded to and redirected support requests to the appropriate resources. Produced ad-hoc reports on registrants and submitted bots as required.

Managing the maintenance and development of new tools to improve efficiency of marketing vehicles for world leader in commercial infrared cameras with sites in 32 languages. Trouble shooting, analyzing, diagnosing and resolving issues with the custom content management system (CMS), built-out of new tools and extended the capabilities of existing tools for managing the sites and tracking results of on-line and off-line marketing efforts. Along with the primary site, responsibilities included the managing of technical needs for four specialty sites focusing on used and rental cameras, training and conferences.

Designed, developed, implemented and project managed a dynamic Internet solution for health food specialists Arkopharma/Health from the Sun, Bedford, Ma., to promote their extensive range of Health Food supplements and retail outlets.

Worked with several colleges in the Boston area to update their web presence and web marketing to go hand-in-hand with conventional printed marketing; Resulted in over 50% increase in new online applicants.

Integrated Windows XP systems into Macintosh network environment. Enabled remote users to access office resources. Made and implemented recommendations on improving network and Internet resources resulting in savings of more than $3,600 in services. Drafted and implemented backup and recovery procedures for internal servers and workstations. New job postings are automatically extracted from an Oracle View, parsed and posted to Monster.com, HotJobs.com, and AJB.

Integrated Information Systems: Consultant/Developer and Project Manager EMC Distance Learning Managed a small team that piloted and deployed third party distance learning tools within EMC. Tested in a simulated environment before integrating into the enterprise. Reported directly to EMC project management; coordinating EMC resources and Third parties to successfully install and implement the tools through all phases of project life cycle. The owners were looking for a site that they could use to supplement their other advertising initiatives including paid listings and print ads. To assist with keeping the site up to date and adding new content, a Content Management System was built that enables them to easily change content, add new pages and upload images.

MimisConsignment.com & NEConsignment.com - is an upscale womens clothing consignment shop and online auction trader. They were looking for sites to help promote their business. Currently an online store is in development for expanding their womens clothing sales. Installed POS software and assist with maintenance and backup's.

Food411.com - is the ultimate online resource for gourmet foods, recipes, cooking and shopping. As they expand they are looking for ways to better manage their content and mailing lists. A database was added to collect subscriptions to their newsletter and an administration tool to help them export the list to mailing software.

CobblestonesOfLowell.com - is a gourmet restaurant in Lowell, Massachussetts. There were looking to update their previous website with a more elegant and upbeat user experience, whilst also making it a vehicle for promoting and expanding their functions and catering business.

ConstructionTrak.net - is an Internet based Project Management and Reporting system designed for construction related companies. As they were nearing the final stages of developing they were looking to have an external recourse audit the system, address bugs, add final functionality requests and project reports.
